The BOS Coordinator acts as a certified internal auditor who is responsible for coordinating IOS and LPA audits, and others as required, per IATF and YFAI requirements. They adhere to all IATF 16949, YFAI requirements and regulatory requirements and promote ongoing awareness and changes throughout the organization. This position acts as a certified lead auditor.<\/p>\n

- Regional AME will be responsible for working closely with the Operations team to develop appropriate training material for the operations team.<\/li>\n
- The Regional AME will be expected to work closely with the technical development team to implement and sustain a common processing strategy. Must be fluent with scientific molding principles, eDART, pressure transfer, and 2\/3 stage molding techniques.<\/li>\n
- The Regional AME will work with the plants to evaluate processing issues, determine appropriate corrective action, advise on the action plan, and execute when necessary. Ability to analyze the results of the DOE\u2019s in order to resolve issues at their root cause.<\/li>\n
- Specific projects will be assigned at a plant level with the expectation that the incumbent will manage the plant contacts, collect appropriate data, spend time on the floor with the processes to understand the issue, and ultimately come to a resolution.<\/li>\n
- The Regional AME will be required to develop, implement, and roll out Yanfeng best business practices to all NA facilities.<\/li>\n
- The Regional AME must have strong documentation and communication skills. Upon completion of a regional level project the AME will be expected to document project findings and prepare a report that will share lessons learned with the plant technical staff and when applicable share these findings with all NA plants.<\/li>\n
- Extensive experience with a wide range of robotic handling systems. Ability to preform robot optimization through hands on programming. Responsibility for assessing the NA operations and make recommendations for process improvement and training requirements as it relates to automation. <\/li>\n
- Strong working knowledge of tooling and the requirements of a successful tool \/ process combination. Ability to understand the YF tool prove out process. <\/li>\n
- The regional AME will work with plants to identify capital improvement opportunities and develop justification. When applicable the AME will need to write appropriate requests and see through the approval process through plant implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Plastics or Engineering Technology (BSME or BSMET or similar) <\/li>\n
- Thorough understanding of mold change requirements. Experience performing mold changes and the use of SMED methods.<\/li>\n
- Extensive hands on experience with injection molding equipment, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.<\/li>\n
- Analytical problem solving skills.<\/li>\n
- Ability to work together as part of a team and the ability to gain respect of the plant operations teams.<\/li>\n
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management.<\/li>\n
- Desire to be very involved on the plant floor. Must have demonstrated \"hands on\" problem solving skills.<\/li>\n
